 Horses For Sale

All of the following are in a regular, consistent training program so we can vouch for their ride-ability and soundness.   There are always horses not on the web site, so it’s best to call us and let us know what you are looking for.  Call Dick at 301-318-6713 for more information or to set up an appointment to come see them!  A good match is way more important to us than getting the sale.  Zero pressure and honestly represented, maybe one of them is right for you?

2011 16.3 hand chestnut Hanoverian/Trakehner gelding.

(Rotwing x Sunrise Sonata (Stravinsky x Whats Up, Wendesohn))

Rocky is a homegrown we have steered to straight dressage, though he does jump.  He’s a quiet, sensible Adult Amateur friendly mount starting Second level movements.  His gaits are smooth and easy to sit.  He has shown a few times with an amateur and really needs to find his person who can take him out and compete him.  He’s easy around the barn, clips, loads, trailers, stands for farrier and is completely healthy.  Easy keeper and has spent time living out.

2013 15.3 chestnut Hanoverian/Thoroughbred mare.

(Rotwing x Smoke and Con, Smoke Glacken)

Risqué is a fabulous mover with a superb temperament.  She’s incredibly sane and easy to get along with.  Perfect pet!

$10,000 to $20,000

2013 16 hand chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding.

(Rock Slide x Tenacious Traci, Rock Hard Ten)

Lance is a super young horse with a simple, kind temperament.  He’s jumping 2’6″ courses and has been out cross country and loves it.  He’s not spooky at fences and hopped over his first ditch and bank with no worries.  Fun horse to work with, easy on the ground and is the same if ridden once a week or 5x a week.  Great for a junior or amateur adult.  Lance never raced, though his is Jockey Club registered with papers (no tattoo).

Under $10,000

2011 15.3 bay Thoroughbred gelding.

(Lord of Cat x Corporate Elegance, Corporate Report)

Sailor is wonderful soul really enjoying being a resident student project.  He’s moving beautifully through the bridle.  He is jumping gymnastics and small fences but is not for a beginner.  He is building confidence and is a fast learner.  He has been trail riding and schooling logs cross country.   He is papered but unraced.
